kalakeitto (Finnish fish soup)
For 3 persons you need:
300 grams fresh perch fillet
6 dl milk
1/2 dl cream
1 large onion
big bunch of dill
6 whole black peppers
15 grams butter
1 teaspoon salt
Peel the potatoes and carrots and cut them to small peaces and boil them
in hot water about 10-15 minutes until soft but not too soft.
Peel the onion and cut to small peaces.
Cut the fish to peaces (not too small)
Cook the fish and onion and peppar separately from potatoes and carrots
in small amount of water (just to cover the ingredients) about 7-10
Pour the water off from the potatoes and carrots and add the fish and
the onion with the cooking water to the pot.
Add the milk, cream, dill and butter.
Add salt and stir.
Enjoy the soup with dark bread.
